IGGY BIGGY'S OCEAN CROSSING MAKES BUCKET LIST!
She's at least made ours!
1. Live on an island without communication of any sort.
2. Figure out a way to make a living doing #1.
3. Make an open ocean voyage to somewhere warm with lots of boat drinks and great views!
We are inviting you to put a mark on your list by joining the sailing yacht Iggy Biggy on her annual trip south to the Islands of the Caribbean.
Iggy, as she's become known in Virginia Beach, will be departing November 2nd on her annual trip south. We have five berths (spaces) available for you to join our experienced crew on our trip to the British Virgin Islands.
This truly is a full participation trip. On this 7-10 day voyage, you will be "hands on" in this offshore passage. Our paying passengers become part of Iggy's active crew the moment they step onboard. You will learn navigation including celestial navigation, watch standing, meal preparation at sea, night sailing, and offshore vessel preparation, as well as great seamanship.
This will be an experience you will never forget. It might be the starter you needed to buy the right boat, take your own boat on the trip of a lifetime...or just bragging rights and terrific memories!
This year we will be participating in the Caribbean 1500 Cruising Rally as part of our voyage south. You will be able to join the yacht in Hampton, Virginia before our departure and participate in the many seminars offered by the Rally.
After our trip south and our arrival in Tortolla, British Virgin Islands, you will be invited to remain onboard Iggy to participate in the post-Rally festivities and award ceremonies before departing for home.
The price per person for the entire adventure (excluding airfare, and departure and arrival taxes) is $2,500.00.
For those of you not able to join us for the trip south, join us for our return trip to Virginia Beach leaving Tortolla on May 1, 2009.
Please contact us to reserve your berth on this
incredible "Bucket List" experience!
Also Iggy will be available for weekly charters (with a captain) from December through April originating in St. Maartin with cruises to St. Barts and Anguilla.
